Peek-a-Boo
Second
step program
About
second step program.
For children to grow up into well-adjusted individuals with the capacity to co-exist with others in the society, they need to learn how to manage and conduct themselves and also learn interpersonal skills. For children, a day-care or preschool is their first experience of society outside their home. Peek-a-boo recognises these aspects and therefore puts special emphasis on teaching children skills such as listening, focusing attention, managing their own emotions, friendship skills and problem-solving skills.
Second Step is a program rooted in social-emotional learning (SEL) that helps transform schools into supportive, successful learning environments uniquely equipped to help children thrive.
